ZenviroEdgePvt. Ltd., as the authorized operating agency of the food waste processing facility developed in association with Sanand Industries Association (SIA), converts segregated organic waste into valuable compost through scientifically managed composting processes.
Collection & Segregation
We provide guidance for source segregation of wet, dry, sanitary, and hazardous waste streams in accordance with the Solid Waste Management Rules, 2016. Segregated food waste is collected on scheduled routes from industries, canteens, cafeterias, hotels, and institutions.
Collection
Food waste is collected in designated containers and transported to the processing facility under hygienic conditions. Acceptable waste streams include:
- Kitchen waste
- Canteen and cafeteria food waste
- Fruit and vegetable waste
- Market organic residues
- Biodegradable organic waste
Processing
Collected organic waste is processed through approved composting technologies such as aerobic composting, in-vessel composting, or other authorized organic waste treatment systems.
The process is monitored for:

- Moisture
- Aeration
- Odor control
- Pathogen reduction
- to ensure efficient stabilization and compost quality.
Output
The processed material is converted into compost or soil-conditioning material suitable for landscaping, horticulture, gardening, and other permitted applications, subject to applicable quality standards.
